Free Trial
The Mastermind free trial lasts 30 days so new members can get in and get to know the platform before paying a monthly or annual fee.
There is no Teachable free trial. Instead, it’s lowest plan is free and costs $0 a month to use going forward.
Getting Paid
At Mastermind, we never take a percentage of what you earn with your online course, coaching or consulting service. We operate under a “you earned it, you keep it” mentality.
Getting paid with Teachable is a little different. The Free Plan charges $1 + 10% per transaction, and the Basic Plan charges 5% per transaction.
You’d have to upgrade to at least the Pro Plan, which is more than double the Mastermind monthly price, to keep all of your earnings.
Education
To help new users get familiar with the platform, both Teachable and Mastermind offer digital introductory trainings.
Teachable’s online webinar shows students how to create their own online school and set up their first course. Teachable is also currently running a “Launch Accelerator Challenge” to help members build an online course that’s ready to pre-sell in 30 days (only available for Basic Plan members and up)
Mastermind also has a 30 day launch course to take you step by step through creating, launching and selling your digital product. The goal of this course is to get you your first (or next) sale so that students will walk away with real results after 30 days.

And offers new mini courses every single month to help students accelerate their growth and get to their next level even faster. Teachable’s website makes no mention of ongoing education opportunities on a monthly basis.

Mastermind offers weekly and monthly LIVE coaching sessions for an added layer of support and accountability. With Mastermind, you can figure out what obstacles are getting in the way of your success PLUS come up with a solution for getting past them thanks to the hands-on support of our next level coaches.
Teachable coaching calls are included in only the Pro and Business Plan, which are both more expensive than Mastermind. And Teachable makes no mention of regular monthly mentorship opportunities for members.
So new members MUST upgrade to at least the Pro Plan on Teachable if they want the same kind of weekly coaching accountability that Mastermind offers all new members.
